Job summary

SYSTRA Canada is seeking a Station Design Manager to lead the multidisciplinary design of rail stations from concept to IFC, coordinating across architecture, structural, MEP, and rail systems. The role ensures compliance with codes and project requirements while guiding interfaces with civil, utilities, and rail teams.

Qualifications

• Accredited degree in Architecture or Building Engineering.
• PE or Architect eligibility preferred.
• 15–20 years of experience in major infrastructure/transport projects.
• Experience on rail or metro projects, preferably high-speed rail or large transit hubs.
• Bilingual English/French preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary design development of rail stations from concept to IFC.
• Coordinate interfaces between station design and rail systems, civil works, utilities.
• Ensure compliance with PRS, technical standards, and applicable codes; manage design reviews.
• Develop and maintain the Station Development Plan, risk registers, and governance processes.
• Support procurement strategy for station packages, including tender documentation and interface clarity.
