Job summary

SYSTRA Canada is seeking a senior engineer to lead the design, governance and delivery of station disciplines for the High-Speed Rail programme. You will coordinate architecture, structural, MEP, utilities, and rail systems interfaces while aligning with ConOps, passenger experience and sustainability goals.

You will act as Engineer of Record, lead design teams, and manage risks, interfaces and approvals with regulators and stakeholders across Canada, ensuring compliance with Canadian codes and

Qualifications

• Accredited degree in Engineering; eligible for Professional Engineer in Canada.
• Bilingual (English/French) preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in major infrastructure or transportation projects; rail/metro/high-speed rail exposure.
• Experience with alliance, PPP, or Design-Build delivery models.
• Experience integrating new infrastructure with brownfield systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide design services, coordination and delivery of discipline work packages for their respective station.
• Lead engineering design team members and manage change control.
• Ensure disciplines alignment with ConOps, service strategy and passenger experience.
• Oversee interface management between station and key programme components and programme-wide interfaces.
• Coordinate with federal, provincial and municipal authorities and regulatory bodies.
