Priority Technology Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to guide architectural cohesion across domains within the Innovation Studio. You will shape scalable, secure financial systems and align with product strategy.

The role emphasizes AI-enabled workflow adoption, reliability, and mentoring senior engineers. You will partner with engineering leaders, product managers, and designers to deliver high-impact, production-ready solutions that scale with business needs.

Formación

• 10–15+ years of software engineering experience, with Staff or equivalent level.
• Proven experience leading architecture across multiple teams or domains.
• Experience aligning systems and architectures across multiple services or domains.
• Ability to design scalable, reliable distributed systems.
• Experience building and operating APIs and services with clear contracts.
• Strong fundamentals in software design and CS concepts.
• Experience applying AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and reliability.
• Experience designing or integrating AI-enabled workflows.
• Familiarity with fintech/payments or regulated financial systems is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design and evolution of complex systems across multiple domains for a workstream.
• Define architectural patterns, service boundaries, and system interactions for consistency.
• Align technical design across teams to reduce fragmentation.
• Influence implementation decisions to match architectural standards.
• Evaluate trade-offs across performance, reliability, and cost.
• Establish and scale testing strategies and quality standards.
• Ensure CI/CD pipelines have strong quality gates and safe deployments.
• Drive reliability, observability, and consistent engineering practices.
• Mentor Staff and Senior engineers and develop tech leaders.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to align architecture with strategy.
