Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the long-term platform architecture across cloud services, APIs, data infrastructure, and AI systems.
• Collaborate with product and engineering leadership to align architectural strategy with business goals.
• Guide technology decisions balancing performance, maintainability, security, and future growth.
• Drive the design of scalable, secure, and reliable distributed systems, including integrations and data pipelines.
• Lead architectural reviews and establish reference patterns, proofs of concept, and engineering standards.
• Partner with data and machine-learning teams to shape next-generation AI-ready infrastructure.
• Mentor senior engineers and technical leads, and help shape the engineering culture and technical hiring.

Requirements

• 15+ years in software engineering with at least 5+ in senior or architectural leadership roles.
• Strong expertise in cloud-native platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), distributed systems, and large-scale architectures.
