Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide SQL Server database administration support, including monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
2. Manage SQL Server replication, primarily transactional replication.
3. Support and deploy SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) solutions.
4. Configure, deploy, and secure SSRS reports and SSAS tabular models.
5. Perform database backups, restores, and high-availability configurations (Always On, failover clustering, log shipping, etc.).
6. Work with Azure SQL, Managed SQL Instances, and Synapse Analytics.
7. Participate in on-call rotations for database support.
8. Perform day-to-day operational support tasks, including deployments and production change management.
9. Write and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation.
10. Ensure compliance with database security and best practices.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

1. 8+ years of hands-on experience as a SQL Server DBA.
2. Expertise in SQL Server Replication (Transactional Replication is a must).
3. Strong experience with SQL Server database engine, backups, restores, and performance tuning.
4. Hands-on experience with SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS (Tabular preferred).
5. Experience with Azure SQL (Azure SQL DB, Managed SQL Instances, Synapse Analytics).
6. Ability to deploy and secure SQL Server-based BI solutions.
7. Basic scripting skills using PowerShell.
8. Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced support role.
9. Excellent communication skills and ability to document processes concisely.
10. Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Data Engineer Associate, or equivalent) are preferred.
