You will translate business needs into robust designs and collaborate across architects, analysts, and developers to deliver scalable, secure systems.

You’ll influence architecture decisions, ensure design integrity, and champion best practices, including embracing AI tools to boost productivity and quality across Canada teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in information technology with at least 5 years in solution design or application architecture.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Expertise in solution design, distributed architectures, APIs, and integration.

Responsibilities

• Design robust, high-performing, secure, and scalable application solutions that meet business needs.
• Translate functional requirements into technical solutions aligned with the organization’s architectural direction.
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, developers, and business partners to develop the best implementation strategies.
• Ensure design integrity throughout the delivery lifecycle and support teams in implementing solutions.
• Actively contribute to architectural decisions, design reviews, and technology choices.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and cross-system impacts associated with the initiatives under your responsibility.
• Support teams in resolving complex production incidents and contribute to continuously improving operational stability.
• Ensure compliance with development, security, architecture, and operational standards.
• Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date technical documentation.
• Act as a technical resource and promote knowledge sharing across teams.
• Make generative artificial intelligence, including Copilot and Claude, a tangible driver of efficiency and quality in your day-to-day work. Demonstrate leadership in its adoption within the team by identifying and sharing best practices, encouraging experimentation, and supporting colleagues in developing their proficiency and autonomy in using AI. Measure and demonstrate the productivity, quality, and efficiency gains resulting from its use.

• Has a minimum of 10 years of experience in information technology, including at least 5 years in solution design or application architecture, ideally in complex environments involving multiple integrated systems;
• Has an advanced level of proficiency in both French and English, as the incumbent will collaborate daily with unilingual English-speaking partners, teams, and stakeholders across Canada.
