Job summary

Bentley Systems is seeking a Senior Software Developer in Québec City, Canada. The role is hybrid (3 days in office) on the Civil Engineering Applications team, focusing on design, development, and delivery of complex engineering software.

You will own features, work with distributed teams, review code, and contribute to architecture decisions while mentoring others and advancing best practices. Strong C++/C# and OO skills are required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in C++ and C# with OO design and architecture.
• Experience designing production-quality software and debugging complex issues.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software components for Civil Engineering applications.
• Take ownership of features from design through delivery and support.
• Collaborate with globally distributed teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Conduct code reviews, implement tests, and drive quality improvements.
• Mentor junior engineers and support Agile processes.
