Job summary

Blyncsy in Québec, Canada, is seeking a Quality Analyst for a hybrid role (3 days in office). You will ensure quality and reliability of Bentley software through test planning, test execution, and defect management, across pre-release and released states.

Responsibilities include designing test cases, performing functional/regression/exploratory testing, maintaining test scripts, and collaborating with dev/product teams to improve quality and user experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field; 2–5 years road design experience or 3+ years testing road design software.
• Familiarity with Bentley tools (MicroStation, ProjectWise, OpenRail, OpenBridge, OpenTunnel) is a plus.
• Solid QA knowledge and testing processes; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with 2D/3D geometry and mathematical concepts.
• Azure experience and automation testing tools a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test cases based on product specs.
• Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
• Develop and maintain test plans and scripts.
• Log, track, and manage defects through lifecycle.
• Validate customer-reported issues and ensure resolution.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure quality.
• Support Sales with product insights when needed.
• Continuously learn Bentley Civil product suite.
• Recommend improvements to enhance quality and UX.
