Job summary

Prompt.io™ is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and scale the technology behind our platform. You’ll own complex technical work and partner with Engineering and Product to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

You’ll have strong technical judgment, experience with Java and modern server-side development, and be hands-on across front-end, back-end, and services to raise engineering quality and drive practical tradeoffs.

Qualifications

5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Production SaaS or web apps experience.
Expertise in Java and modern server-side development.
Experience with APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
Experience in cloud environments.
Strong communication and remote collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Design, build, test, and maintain scalable services and APIs.
Own complex technical projects end-to-end.
Collaborate with Engineering and Product to translate needs into technical solutions.
Address performance, reliability, and security challenges.
Provide thoughtful code reviews and knowledge sharing.
