Job summary

Case IQ, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Application Developer to set technical direction and deliver durable, secure software for our GRC platform.

You will lead cross-functional initiatives, raise engineering standards, and shape how product teams use AI-native practices to move from idea to production safely. Join a team that builds AI-assisted development patterns, with a focus on reliability, security, and enterprise-ready workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent depth of professional experience.
• 10+ years of software engineering experience with large-scale SaaS systems and leadership across teams.
• Deep expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, SQL, API design, distributed systems, and pragmatic system architecture.
• Experience building or operating AI-enabled software in production, including LLM patterns, RAG, tool calling, or orchestration.
• Hands-on experience with AI-native or agentic SDLC workflows with rigorous review, testing, security, and ownership.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture and technical direction for high-impact platform capabilities, balancing velocity, reliability, security, maintainability, and TCO.
• Design and evolve scalable APIs and data flows using TypeScript, Node.js, Redis, OpenSearch, PostgreSQL, and event-driven patterns.
• Lead the engineering of AI-enabled product capabilities, including LLM integrations and orchestration for enterprise workflows.
• Establish agentic SDLC practices with AI-assisted design, automated tests, reviews, release validation, and incident investigation.
• Build guardrail systems for AI workflows covering quality, safety, security, privacy, observability, cost, and rollback.
• Set production readiness standards across AWS services like CloudFront, S3, API Gateway, ECS, Lambda, RDS.
• Drive secure-by-design implementation including OWASP practices, tenant isolation, data protection, secrets management, access control, and compliance-aware decisions.
• Lead multi-team initiatives from discovery to rollout with clear trade-offs and communication.
• Raise engineering excellence through architecture reviews, high-signal reviews, automated testing, CI/CD gates, and documentation.
• Mentor senior and developing engineers to raise team capability and shape roadmaps and practices.
