Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, is seeking a software engineer to join a multi-disciplinary team responsible for the total software lifecycle of large-scale naval platforms, with a focus on the Combat Management System (CMS).

You will contribute to Agile development, requirements analysis, design reviews, RESTful services with Spring Boot, and containerized deployments using Kubernetes/Helm, Docker or Podman, on Linux (RHEL).

Qualifications

• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• Eligible to obtain NATO Secret Clearance in a timely manner.
• 5-10 years' work experience in Java development.
• Proven experience with containerization tools like Kubernetes, Podman, or Docker.
• Experience deploying applications to Kubernetes via Helm.
• Experience building RESTful APIs using Spring Boot.
• Proven experience writing tests (unit, functional, and integration) using frameworks like JUnit, Mockito, MockMVC, and TestFx.
• Familiarity with relational databases (PostgreSQL and/or MariaDB).
• Familiarity with version control systems (such as Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working in Linux (RHEL).
