Thales, located in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, is seeking a Program Engineer – Electrical to support Non-Combatant In-Service Support Programs for the Royal Canadian Navy. The ideal candidate will develop and manage electrical system documentation while working closely with various teams.
This role requires a minimum of 5 years of marine engineering experience and a bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering. The position offers a hybrid work model and an annual compensation ranging from $85,000 to $120,000 CAD.

Program Engineer – Electrical – Support for Non-Combatant In‑Service Support Programs for the Royal Canadian Navy, mainly the AOPS and JSS In‑Service (AJISS) Program. As part of the AJISS Engineering team, this role supports the Coastal Support team and the Service Delivery team with the management of defects for the Arctic and Offshore Patrol Vessels (AOPVs) and Joint Support Ships (JSS). Additional support may be called for the Minor War & Auxiliary Vessels (MWAV) program, involving defect rectification, surveys, and engineering changes.
This position requires direct or indirect access to hardware, software or technical information controlled under the Canadian Export Control List and/or the U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR). All applicants must be eligible or able to obtain authorization for such access.
The anticipated Total Target Compensation (TTC), inclusive of annual salary and bonus eligibility, for this role is $85,000 to 120,000 CAD per year.
