Job summary

Mural is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for its Growth & Engagement team in Canada. You will build features across the customer journey, collaborate with Product, Design, Data, Marketing, and Customer Success to identify growth opportunities, and run experiments to validate ideas and measure impact.

You will mentor engineers, shape technical direction, and help improve engineering practices while delivering scalable, high-quality software.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer building and operating production software.
• Strong proficiency building modern web applications using TypeScript and React.
• Familiarity with AI tooling ecosystems and emerging AI technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain customer-facing features across acquisition to monetization.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Data, Marketing, and Customer Success to identify growth opportunities.
• Design and analyze experiments using feature flags and A/B testing to validate impact.
• Build instrumentation and data pipelines to understand user behavior.
• Write high-quality, maintainable code and contribute to architecture and long-term platform improvements.
• Improve performance, reliability, accessibility, and scalability of main user journeys.
• Mentor teammates through reviews, design discussions, and knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to roadmap planning and improvement of engineering practices.
