Job summary

Bilinguallink is seeking a Senior Data Analyst in Canada to partner with Product, Marketing, Engineering, and Leadership. You will shape success metrics, build scalable data models, and translate data into actionable recommendations that influence product strategy and outcomes.

You will own analyses of product performance and customer behaviour, using cohort/retention and funnel analysis to uncover growth drivers. You thrive as a generalist across categories and evolving product areas.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data experience.
• Expert SQL skills with high-quality queries.
• Experience building analytics workflows with dbt.
• Strong version control with Git.
• Proven retention/cohort and funnel/conversion analysis.
• Familiarity with A/B testing principles.
• Experience on new product/market launches is a plus.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication.

Responsibilities

• Own product data sources, analytics infrastructure, data models, and measurement frameworks.
• Define and monitor KPIs for category health (adoption, retention, conversion, unit economics, cross-sell).
• Collaborate with Product to assess feature adoption and influence roadmap.
• Design measurement frameworks for launches, experiments, and initiatives.
• Identify drivers of retention via cohort analysis and improve engagement.
• Automate recurring analytics workflows for faster decisions.
• Lead development and maintenance of dbt models and orchestrations.
• Build self-serve reporting and semantic data models for teams.
• Translate business questions into analyses and present findings to senior stakeholders.
