Job summary

Randstad Canada seeks a Senior Software Developer - CRM to configure, extend, and integrate Dynamics 365 solutions for back-office workflows. You will design both low-code and backend components within a cloud-based Microsoft ecosystem, collaborating in an Agile team onsite in Toronto.

The role focuses on configuring advanced case management, agent workspace features, and delivering RESTful Web APIs with .NET technologies. Strong integration experience with enterprise middleware is required.

Qualifications

• Proficient in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, Web APIs, EF, Azure SQL (required).

Responsibilities

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer - CRM to configure, extend, and integrate enterprise Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions for back-office registration and permitting workflows. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing both low-code and custom backend solutions within a cloud-based Microsoft ecosystem. Working as a key technical resource within an Agile delivery team, you will configure advanced case management and agent workspace features, build custom .NET components and Web APIs, and collaborate on integrating backend systems with external web portals via enterprise middleware.

Location: Toronto, ON (Fully Onsite - 5 days/week required)

Duration: 6-month contract.

Responsibilities

Configure, extend, and customize Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Service modules, including case management, Customer Service Workspace, agent experience profiles, session templates, workstreams, and routing rules.

Design and build low-code and custom solutions leveraging Power Platform tools, including Model-Driven Apps, Canvas Apps, Power Pages, Liquid templates, and custom PCF controls.

Develop custom backend components, RESTful Web APIs, plugins, and custom workflows using C#, .NET Core, Entity Framework, and Azure SQL.

Configure Dataverse architecture, entity structures, security roles, and data segregation models.

Build and maintain CI/CD deployment pipelines, automated build scripts, and task management boards using Azure DevOps.

Collaborate with integration teams to connect Dynamics 365 backend solutions with external public-facing web portals via enterprise middleware APIs.

Author comprehensive technical design specifications, system documentation, and architecture reviews.

Participate actively in daily Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, task estimation, and peer code reviews.

Qualifications

Dynamics 365 & Power Platform Expertise: Extensive hands-on experience designing, developing, and configuring Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Dataverse solutions (Strictly Required).

Customer Service Workspace Configuration: Practical experience configuring Dynamics 365 Customer Service Workspace, agent experience profiles, session templates, workstreams, and routing rules (Strictly Required).

Custom .NET & Web API Development: Proven proficiency in custom software development using C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, Web APIs, Entity Framework, and Azure SQL (Strictly Required).

Azure Cloud & DevOps Tooling: Practical experience with Azure cloud services, Azure DevOps pipelines, CI/CD automated deployments, and Agile/Kanban delivery frameworks (Strictly Required).

Low-Code & Extensibility Components: Practical experience building Model-Driven Apps, Power Pages, Canvas Apps, custom PCF controls, and Liquid server-side templates (Strictly Required).

Nice-to-Have Assets

Relevant certifications in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (e.g., Functional Consultant or Developer) or Azure Cloud Solutions.

Prior software development experience within public-sector or broader public-sector environments.
