Job summary

MECP in Ontario is seeking aSenior Software Developer to configure Dynamics 365 for Registration and Permit workflows and integrate backoffice with the Java/React portal using Mulesoft middleware. You will work on a modern online registration system for internal and external users.

Required experience includes Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure design, and strong API development skills with .NET Core. Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines is essential for this role in Toronto, Ontario.

Description:

• The Ontario Ministry of Environment, Conservation and Parks (MECP) Species at Risk Branch (SARB) is responsible for the administration and issuance of Registrations under the new Species Conservation Act (SCA), 2025.
  
• The objective of this project is to build a modern online Registration system for both external and internal users.
  
• Technology stack : Microsoft Dynamics CRM (backoffice), MuleSoft (middleware) and Java/React (public facing portal)
  
• This position is to configure MS Dynamics 365 for Registration and Permit workflows for Ministry backoffice staff and integrate this backoffice with portal (Java/React) using Mulesoft middleware.

• Extensive experience developing in Dynamics 365 Customer Service (case management, Knowledge Management, Customer Service Workspace configuration), power platform, power apps (Model-Driven App, Power Pages, Canvas App), Custom PCF controls, development and Server-Side templating language Liquid.
  
• Experience with both low code development and custom development on Dynamics 365
  

Communication Skills:

• Strong communication skills to prepare documentation, including but not limited to; reports, reviews, assessments
  
• Ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively and in a user friendly manner; maintain a high level of customer service to both internal and external clients
