Job summary

Ontario Public Service (MECP SARB) seeks a Senior Software Developer for a 100% onsite role in Toronto. You will configure and extend Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM to support Registration and Permit workflows and integrate the back-office with a public-facing Java/React portal through MuleSoft.

Strong Azure, Power Platform, and .NET skills are essential. The role focuses on low-code and custom development, Dataverse design, and creating Web APIs while maintaining CI/CD pipelines and DevOps

Position Overview

The Ontario Ministry of Environment, Conservation and Parks (MECP), Species at Risk Branch (SARB), is responsible for the administration and issuance of registrations under the new Species Conservation Act (SCA), 2025.
The Ministry is undertaking a project to build a modern online Registration system supporting both external and internal users.
The technology stack includes:

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM – back-office platform
• Microsoft Power Platform

• MuleSoft – middleware/integration
• Java/React – public-facing portal

The Senior Software Developer will be responsible for configuring and developing Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM to support Registration and Permit workflows for Ministry back-office users and integrating the Dynamics 365 back-office environment with the public-facing Java/React portal through MuleSoft middleware.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, develop, and support solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and Microsoft Power Platform.
• Configure Dynamics 365 for Registration and Permit workflows used by Ministry back-office staff.
• Design and implement solutions using Azure and Dynamics 365.
• Develop solutions using both low-code Power Platform capabilities and custom development within Dynamics 365.
• Design and develop Dataverse solutions, including data models and integrations.
• Work with Dynamics 365 interoperability and integration capabilities across Microsoft cloud technologies.

Onsite Requirement – Critical

This is a 100% onsite assignment.
The selected consultant must be able to work onsite five (5) days per week, Monday through Friday, during standard working hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, excluding lunch breaks, at:
40 St. Clair St. W, Toronto, Ontario
