Bell is looking for an innovative, self-motivated, and talented individual to work as a Solutions Architect. The Solutions Architect is the subject matter expert responsible for defining solutions in the order acquisition and fulfillment area, supporting Bell’s Business Market products, specifically for voice and connectivity services.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for solution design, assessments including cost and time, handoff to delivery teams for implementation, and support activities during implementation.
• Apply industry best practices to create scalable and secure solutions with superior technical performance.
• Collaborate with Business, IT Teams, and other groups to build solutions that support business needs and align with enterprise architectural objectives.
• Troubleshoot issues during delivery and assist in production default resolution as necessary.
• Develop software/platform/infrastructure architecture plans to support business outcomes, with experience in emerging technologies such as big data and cloud platforms, coupled with a development background.
• Align actions with business strategy and long-term goals.
• Understand complex enterprise solutions and architecture.
• Communicate effectively with all team members to deliver high-quality solutions and articulate technical vision, possibilities, and outcomes.

Critical Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as an IT Solution Architect.
• 5+ years design & implementation experience with distributed applications.
• Ability to interpret customer business and technical needs.
• Experience with various integration patterns.
• Good understanding of databases (SQL, NoSQL).
• Ability to produce operable architectures meeting business and enterprise architecture needs.
• Collaborative attitude and willingness to work with team members; capable of coaching and sharing skills.
• Effective communication skills at all organizational levels, in a cross-functional agile environment.
• Continuous learning mindset regarding technical items and processes.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, capable of handling complex situations through analysis and planning.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies such as NFV/SDN, M2M/IoT, V2X, MEC.
• Understanding of wireless telecommunications standards and industry.
• Knowledge of NMS/EMS/OSS/BSS operations and service assurance is valuable.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or iterative project delivery.
• Certifications like TmForum Frameworx or TOGAF.
• Experience with ServiceNow and Salesforce.
• Telecommunications industry experience.
• Knowledge in object-oriented and scripting programming languages, messaging queues, REST and SOAP APIs, data modeling standards, and network understanding.
• Ability to interact with French & English stakeholders across Canada.

Additional Information:

For hybrid work arrangements, candidates must be based in Canada and report to a Bell office at least 3 days a week. Bell offers flexible work hours based on business needs.
