Job summary

BDC is seeking a Commercial Account Manager, Small Business in Boisbriand to leverage your network and interpersonal strengths to generate new opportunities while managing a portfolio of existing clients.

Your main objective is to help entrepreneurs succeed by offering tailored financing solutions and advisory services, handling proposals up to $3M, and building lasting relationships through local business networks and chambers of commerce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, commerce or business administration.
• 1–3 years of experience in business development with a network in the business community.
• Ability to identify business issues and needs for entrepreneurs.
• Strong financial acumen; capable of analyzing financial statements.
• Excellent negotiation skills, results-oriented with proven goal achievement.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Meet with entrepreneurs, clients and prospects to identify issues and opportunities.
• Execute action plans to grow and retain current clients while building a pipeline of new business.
• Analyze, negotiate and present financing proposals with sound credit judgement.
• Engage with local business communities, associations and chambers of commerce to obtain references and partnerships.
