Job summary

Bank of Montreal is looking for a Commercial Sales & Service professional to cultivate and manage a portfolio of small business clients in Canada. You will develop strategies to attract new business, expand existing relationships, and deliver exceptional financial guidance.

In this role you will analyze financials, leverage product knowledge, and collaborate with internal teams to meet client needs while upholding risk controls and data governance standards.

Qualifications

• Strong financial analysis skills to interpret statements and assess creditworthiness.
• Deep knowledge of business banking products, lending processes, and related policies.
• Proven track record in customer sales and service within business banking.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across stakeholders.
• Collaborative, with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to influence decisions and drive initiatives with data insight.
• Experience with data-driven decision making in a banking context.
• Typically 4–6 years of relevant experience and a related degree.
