Job description

Toronto-based infrastructure company specializing in CIPP (Cure In Place Pipe) is seeking a full-time Site Supervisor. The candidate will work closely with Project Managers, consultants, sub-trades, and client representatives. Emphasizing safety, schedule, quality, budget, and client service, the candidate must be able to work within a team and lead on-site.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Work shifts are daily or nightly as required by the project.
• Maintain and enforce all health and safety policies specific to the work, company, site, and applicable laws.
• Communicate effectively with the Project Manager regarding daily activities, revenue, expenditures, and potential site issues.
• Maintain order and safety on site for all workers and visitors.
• Supervise, direct, coach, coordinate, and plan activities of site personnel, sub-trades, and contractors, enforcing company SOPs.
• Review project schedule, manpower, and material availability regularly, reporting concerns promptly.
• Manage municipal and consultant inspections efficiently.
• Address deficiencies promptly before demobilization.
• Attend daily/weekly site meetings as required.
• Willingness to travel outside the GTA and across Ontario as needed.

Required Knowledge & Skills:

• 5+ years of experience as a site supervisor/superintendent in civil infrastructure, specializing in municipal water systems.
• Valid driver’s license, access to a vehicle with insurance, and ability to travel across Ontario.
• Degree or diploma in a construction-related field is an asset.
• Strong understanding of drawings and contract documents, with the ability to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
• Excellent communication, time management, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
