Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Team Lead for the Site Investigation and Remediation team in the Prairies & Territories. The STL will partner with BC Leadership to guide the SIR function, manage resources, and drive growth through staff development and project leadership.

The role focuses half its time on technical work and commits to collaboration across Environmental Services teams, with a strong emphasis on leadership and client outcomes in AB, SK, MB, and NT regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Professional designation (e.g., P.Eng, P.Geo, P.Chem, P.Ag., etc.) recognized in AB, SK, MB, and/or Northwest Territories.
• Minimum 10 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor SIR Team Leads and drive operational management within the SIR team.
• Coordinate recruitment onboarding and staff development activities.
• Oversee resource planning, utilization, and career progression; participate in performance reviews.
