Job summary

Stantec seeks an experienced Project Manager for Site Investigation and Remediation (SIR) projects across Prairies and Territories. You will lead environmental site assessments, remediation, and risk analyses for downstream oil&gas and commercial sectors, supervising field and office teams.

The role requires eight years of SIR-related experience, a degree in Environmental Engineering/Geology/Environmental Science, and professional designation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of eight (8) years related experience managing SIR field work and coordinating soil and groundwater investigations/remediation projects.
• Demonstrated commitment to health and safety policies and procedures.
• Strong understanding of provincial soil and groundwater remediation guidelines (AB, SK, MB).

Responsibilities

• Promote a strong health and safety culture and participate in Stantec’s Health and Safety Program.
• Develop detailed scopes of work and cost estimates for Phase I ESAs and Phase II site investigations.
• Coordinate remedial options and risk management strategies with technical professionals and subcontractors.
• Manage budgets, scope, quality, and timelines on medium to large projects or client portfolios.
• Maintain positive client relationships and communicate project status regularly.
• Lead and participate in project meetings and coordinate resource needs across SIR projects.
