Job summary

Export Development Canada (EDC) is seeking a Senior ServiceNow CSM Developer to design, build, and support scalable ServiceNow CSM solutions. You will lead complex development tasks, decompose designs into deliverable stories, and mentor peers in a regulated enterprise environment.

The role emphasizes governance, standard patterns, and future capabilities such as playbooks, reporting, and AI-enabled service support, with a hybrid work model from Ottawa or Toronto hubs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• Minimum 7 years in software engineering or enterprise tech delivery.
• Minimum 5 years configuring and supporting ServiceNow solutions.
• Experience implementing ServiceNow CSM in a complex enterprise.
• Strong JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, testing, and implementation of ServiceNow CSM solutions (case models, teams, workflows, playbooks).
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, and delivery teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Guide other developers, establish reusable patterns, and contribute to platform governance and standards.
• Develop workflows, integrations, and data models using Flow Designer, Integration Hub, APIs, and events.
• Mentor and support citizen developers to follow ServiceNow best practices and guardrails.
