Job Summary:

The primary responsibilities include delivering preventative visits to access control, intruder alarm, and CCTV systems, mainly in commercial environments, adhering to company and industry standards within scheduled times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Have a passion for the trade and be a problem solver with excellent attention to detail.
• Possess excellent customer communication skills, and be a team player with a can-do attitude.
• Have a good knowledge of CANASA and security industry standards.
• Manage your work effectively and embody the company's vision and values.
• Have experience working in a similar role within the security industry.
• Be multi-disciplined in the security industry, including service, small works, fault-finding, maintenance, and installation knowledge.
• Hold a Full Clean Driving License - Essential for this role.
• Be adaptable to new technologies.
• Depending on experience, handle pre-booked preventative visits on various system sizes.
• Possess excellent fault diagnosis skills, including working on complex systems; assist with installations when needed.

Qualifications:

• Experience with Genetec, Avigilon, and/or ICT (Access control and CCTV)
• At least 7 years of experience in the Electronic Security Systems industry
• Knowledge of Systems Networking and IP Configuration
• Ability to obtain a Federal Level II Security Clearance
• Proficiency in Excel and Word
• Stay current with security solutions offered by Ainsworth (e.g., AMAG, Avigilon, Genetec, ICT, RS2, Salient)
• Willing to travel within Ontario, including overnight stays
