Job Summary:

The primary responsibility is to deliver preventative visits to access control, intruder alarm, and CCTV systems, mainly in commercial environments, adhering to company and industry standards within scheduled times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Have a passion for the trade and be a problem solver with excellent attention to detail.
• Possess excellent customer communication skills and be a team player with a can-do attitude.
• Have good knowledge of CANASA and security industry standards.
• Hold Electronic Installation Qualifications or equivalent.
• Manage your work effectively while embodying the company's vision and values.
• Have experience working in a similar role within the security industry.
• Be multi-disciplined in the security industry, including service, small works, fault-finding, maintenance, and installation knowledge.
• Hold a Full Clean Driving Licence — Essential for this role.
• Be adaptable to new technologies.
• Depending on experience, be capable of managing pre-booked preventative visits on systems of varying sizes.
• Have excellent fault diagnosis skills, including working on complex systems, and be willing to assist with installations on similar projects.

Qualifications:

• Experience with Genetec, Avigilon, and/or ICT (Access control and CCTV).
• At least 7 years of experience in the Electronic Security Systems industry.
• Knowledge of Systems Networking and IP Configuration.
• Ability to obtain a Federal Level II Security Clearance.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word.
• Stay current with the security solutions provided by Ainsworth (e.g., AMAG, Avigilon, Genetec, ICT, RS2, Salient).
• Willingness to travel within Ontario, including overnight stays.
