Job summary

D3 Security is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer in Testing (SDET) to join our growing team in Vancouver. You will lead manual and automated testing efforts, design testing environments, and collaborate with DevOps to ensure robust deployments.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in testing with team leadership, strong scripting skills, and familiarity with CI/CD, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity testing.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience in software QA engineering.
• 5+ years of testing with team leadership experience.
• 5+ years in manual and automated testing with scripting/tools.
• Experience with CI/CD and Jenkins for pipelines.
• DevOps and Git familiarity (branching, PRs, workflows).
• Proficiency in Python, C#, and .NET 6.
• SQL, NoSQL databases, and cloud services (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity testing and performance considerations.
• Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in manual and automated testing across the application.
• Design, deploy, and maintain environments for functional, performance, and security testing.
• Troubleshoot issues and document findings for QA and release.
• Collaborate with Deployment teams to ensure smooth production installation.
• Produce internal QA documentation and training materials as required.
