Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an experienced EGSE engineer to design, develop, and integrate hardware and software for satellite production. You will define architectures, interfaces, and test procedures, collaborating with systems, avionics, RF, payload, and flight software teams.

You will also develop automated test sequences, perform RF campaigns on phased array antennas, and drive root-cause analysis while scaling infrastructure for higher production throughput.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/RF engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of EGSE design, development, and integration experience for aerospace/satellite systems.
• Hands-on RF test system design and integration with signal generators, VNAs, channel emulators, and power meters.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate EGSE hardware and software for satellite production.
• Define EGSE architecture and interfaces with systems, avionics, RF, payload, and flight software teams.
• Develop and maintain automated test sequences for high-volume production workflows.
• Execute RF test campaigns on phased array antennas, characterizing beam steering and link performance.
• Maintain configuration control and calibration status across EGSE assets.
• Author test procedures, interface control documents, and test readiness reviews.
• Drive root-cause analysis on test anomalies with subsystem teams.
• Scale test infrastructure to support increasing production rates and roadmap delivery.
• Work hands-on with hardware on the production floor during integration and test campaigns.
