Job summary

MDA Space in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue is seeking a motivated EGSE project engineer to join our team. You will contribute to the development of test equipment and support testing of satellite electronics units in a multidisciplinary environment.

You will work with AI&T managers to plan EGSE activities, conduct risk analyses, and ensure compliance with MDA standards. A Bachelor's in electrical engineering and at least five years in electronics are required, with leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years experience in electronics-related field.
• Experience in electronics test station design and manufacturing: digital, analog, power or RF electronics.
• Ability to organize work within a collaborative team and lead a design team.

Responsibilities

• Be part of an engineering team specializing in test equipment (EGSE).
• Contribute to the organization of technical work of multidisciplinary teams on satellite constellation projects.
• Interface with AI&T and department managers to secure materials and resources.
• Plan, coordinate and monitor EGSE activities from development to flight production models.
• Carry out risk analyses and technical trade-offs for EGSE projects.
• Participate in and organize technical reviews and implement corrective actions.
• Communicate program vision to achieve project objectives and ensure compliance with standards.
