Job summary

Medcan Health Management Inc. is seeking a Specialist, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, to lead hands-on marketing automation development and optimization.

You will craft personalized communications, automated journeys, and audience segmentation across the lifecycle—from acquisition to retention—while ensuring privacy, accessibility, and data governance standards. You will collaborate with Marketing, Analytics, Technology, Growth, and Product teams to translate requirements into scalable SFMC

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience administering and developing Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions.
• Advanced proficiency in Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Contact Builder, AMPscript, SQL, HTML/CSS.
• Proven ability to build and optimize customer journeys, lifecycle campaigns, personalization programs, and automated communications.
• Strong knowledge of audience segmentation, data extensions, subscriber management, and campaign operations.
• Experience connecting Salesforce Marketing Cloud with CRM platforms and enterprise data sources.
• Knowledge of CASL, PIPEDA, accessibility, data governance, AI-enabled marketing; healthcare exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy, and optimize automated customer journeys, email campaigns, triggered communications, and personalization programs within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Develop and maintain solutions using Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Contact Builder, AMPscript, SQL, HTML, and CSS.
• Create audience segmentation, data extensions, subscriber management solutions, and targeting strategies to support lifecycle marketing initiatives.
• Execute campaign deployments and automation workflows, ensuring accuracy, quality assurance, and adherence to timelines.
• Partner with Technology teams to support integrations between Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce CRM, and other enterprise systems.
• Translate marketing and business requirements into scalable automation and personalization solutions.
• Monitor campaign performance and recommend optimizations through testing, analytics, Salesforce Einstein capabilities, and AI-driven enhancements.
• Troubleshoot campaign, data, integration, and automation issues, identifying root causes and implementing timely resolutions.
• Support testing, validation, release, and deployment activities for marketing technology initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with privacy legislation, consent management requirements, accessibility standards, data governance policies, and email deliverability best practices.
• Champion Salesforce Marketing Cloud best practices and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and customer experience.
