Job summary

Capital One Canada is seeking a Senior Manager, Sales for the Discover Payment Network to accelerate merchant acquisition in Canada. You will build a robust sales pipeline, engage high-value enterprise merchants, and close end-to-end commercial agreements across cross-functional teams.

You will travel up to 50% and partner with pricing, legal, risk, AML, and other internal teams to drive network revenue growth.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of payments industry sales or related roles.
• Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
• Experience with e-commerce gateways, contactless payments, digital wallets, or tokenization.

Responsibilities

• Identify leads, develop proposals, respond to RFPs, and negotiate agreements with merchants to maximize network acceptance.
• Identify and create innovative business cases to win merchant acceptance deals with internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams and feedback from customers to identify and implement new sales opportunities.
• Develop strong relationships to maintain and grow accounts to meet volume and revenue goals.
• Participate in industry exhibitions and conferences.
