Job summary

Capital One Canada, a leading Canadian financial institution, seeks a Senior Manager of Sales for the Discover Payment Network to accelerate merchant acquisition and grow network acceptance across Canada. You will lead a robust sales pipeline, engage high-value enterprise merchants, and drive end-to-end commercial agreements with cross-functional partners.

You will travel up to 50% and collaborate with Pricing, Legal, Risk, AML, and other teams to close enterprise deals and expand payment

Qualifications

• 8+ years in payments industry sales, business development, or related fields.
• Experience closing enterprise-level merchant deals.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with pricing, legal, risk and AML teams.

Responsibilities

• Identify leads, develop proposals, respond to RFPs, and negotiate merchant agreements to maximize network acceptance.
• Create business cases to win merchant deals with key internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams and customers to identify and implement new sales opportunities.
• Maintain and grow strategic account relationships to meet volume and revenue goals.
• Represent Capital One Canada at industry events and conferences.
