Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to support our Sales team. The ideal candidate combines pre-sales support or SaaS implementation experience with investigation tradecraft or cyber defense expertise. Experience in cyber threat analysis, incident response, or financial investigations is a plus. The Sales Engineer will engage with customers during pre- and post-sales, identifying technical requirements and presenting solutions to meet customer needs. Collaboration with Inside Sales and Account Executives is essential to drive solution alignment and secure technical wins.

Requirements

  • Experience in pre / post-sales technical support and investigation tradecraft
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills, including presentations
  • Passion for solving customer problems and sharing relevant experiences
  • Limited software development or technical integration skills

Responsibilities

  • Manage full sales cycle for technical account management : identifying needs, deploying products, managing pilots, and addressing security and implementation questions
  • Lead technical discussions and product demonstrations, engaging with both executives and IT specialists
  • Conduct in-depth product demos highlighting technical features and investigation tradecraft
  • Respond to RFIs and security questionnaires during procurement processes

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of enterprise pre-sales / post-sales / technical support experience, preferably in cybersecurity
  • Experience with investigation, OSINT, threat hunting, or intelligence collection
  • Strong technical and business communication skills
  • Comfortable presenting to individuals and groups
  • C$115,000 - C$135,000 plus commission and equity

Salary will depend on location, skills, experience, and education.
