Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Ruby Developer to join an application engineering team responsible for supporting critical enterprise applications. The role requires recent Ruby on Rails experience, production environment familiarity, and collaboration with SRE, DevOps, and Platform Engineering teams.

The candidate will design, develop, and support enterprise apps using Ruby on Rails, focusing on performance, reliability, and observability with tools such as Dynatrace and Splunk.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience with Ruby on Rails in production environments.
• Experience building and supporting enterprise web applications, APIs, and backend services.
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools (Dynatrace preferred).
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud technologies and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support enterprise applications using Ruby on Rails.
• Ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability of systems.
• Collaborate with SRE/DevOps and Platform Engineering teams; participate in on-call rotations.
