Job summary

Miratech is seeking a Senior Routing Engine Developer to design and build the next generation interaction routing platform for enterprise-scale contact centers. You will own the core routing engine, handling real-time distribution of voice and digital interactions via queues, skills, and channels using Java, Spring Boot, and cloud-native technologies.

Collaborate with product, architecture, and CX teams to define APIs, non-functional requirements, and deployment views.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering with ownership of distributed apps.
• Expert Java/Spring Boot, distributed systems, REST APIs, security, and performance engineering.
• Experience building routing logic for contact center or CX platforms.
• Knowledge of ACD concepts, queues, skill-based routing, and workload balancing.
• API-first design, event-driven architecture, cloud-native engineering.
• PostgreSQL or relational databases familiarity.
• Hands-on CX platform experience and routing concepts.
• Excellent communication and client-facing workshop leadership.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise-scale routing engines for real-time distribution.
• Implement routing algorithms based on skills, priorities, and capacity.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, resilience, and performance.
• Design APIs for routing configuration, administration, monitoring, and integration.
• Optimize for high concurrency, fault tolerance, and predictable performance.
• Integrate routing with telephony, messaging, WFM, CRM, identity, reporting, analytics.
• Develop Java/Spring Boot services, APIs, and integration components.
• Translate business requirements into solution components and roadmaps.
• Define non-functional requirements for availability, performance, security, observability.
• Review designs, identify risks, and drive quality within time and cost constraints.
• Establish engineering standards and reusable patterns with documentation guidance.
• Collaborate with CX experts to translate requirements into routing capabilities.
