Job summary

Inter Pipeline, located in Cochrane, Alberta, seeks a Sr. Engineer, Rotating Equipment as part of the NGL Extraction Engineering Team at the Cochrane Extraction Plant (CEP).

The role reports to the Manager, CEP Engineering, and focuses on rotating equipment reliability, overhaul planning, and performance improvements. The successful candidate collaborates with plant engineering, maintenance and operations to drive safe, on-time project execution and to mentor staff in best practices for rotating

Qualifications

• 10+ years of industry experience with rotating equipment (pumps, turbines, compressors) in a plant environment.
• Engineering degree with preferred additional coursework related to project management.
• Registered as a Professional Engineer with APEGA or working towards professional registration in the near future
• Strong communications skills, including the ability to exchange information, ideas, and thoughts effectively across multidisciplinary groups.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering consistent with IPL practices to address modification, reliability, and integrity requirements at the Cochrane Extraction Plant.
• Rotating Equipment SME for CEP, Pioneer 1 and Pioneer 2.
• Lead CEP Plant Operations and Maintenance activities and mentor plant personnel in rotating equipment matters.
