We are currently looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer – Rotating Equipment to join our team in either Calgary, AB or Edmonton, AB. The Senior Mechanical Engineer – Rotating Equipment position will take on a key engineering role in both greenfield and brownfield projects involving rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, turbines and blowers/fans.
Experience in refinery, carbon capture and utilization, gas processing, green/blue hydrogen, unconventional oil.
Extensive rotating equipment experience with at significant experience in brownfield revamps of rotating equipment.
Conversant with industry codes and standards, such as ASME and API, including API-610, -611, -614, -617, -618 and -672, -673, -675 and -676.
Excellent technical and practical engineering skills and ability to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work to Worley and its clients.
Excellent knowledge of the fundamental requirements of the mechanical engineering, and the basic requirements of other engineering fields.
Competent use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite and mechanical engineering specific software.
Extensive technical and practical experience in mechanical engineering including experience in working in multi-disciplinary projects and teams.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering with extensive rotating equipment experience in oil and gas facilities.
Registered Professional Engineer with APEGA.
