Job summary

Shell Canada is seeking an experienced Rotating Equipment Manager to provide technical leadership across rotating equipment disciplines, driving reliability and performance improvements for the Scotford Upgrader, Refinery, and Chemicals units. You will steward capital and operating decisions and lead a team of engineers and contractors, balancing resources with priorities.

The role requires a strong engineering background in rotating equipment, P.Eng eligibility, and demonstrated supervisory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD in mechanical or related engineering with rotating equipment focus.
• Extensive manufacturing experience including rotating equipment.
• Experience supervising or leading teams and delivering results through others.

Responsibilities

• Provide medium- and long-term engineering support to Production Teams for rotating equipment.
• Lead and direct the Rotating Equipment discipline engineering team.
• Ensure technical competencies and development (TA2/TA3) for rotating equipment.
• Manage site budget and provide monthly projections to PET Manager.
• Collaborate with other department managers to align work processes and timelines.
