Job summary

Intact is seeking a Risk Control Consultant (or Senior Risk Control Consultant) to join a growing team focused on Equipment Breakdown risk control. You will assess risk factors, develop improvement recommendations, and work with clients, brokers and engineers to reduce losses and enhance risk management programs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in industrial risk control for consultants, 5+ for Sr.
• Engineering degree or related sciences
• Knowledge of Equipment Breakdown risk control
• Familiarity with ASME Codes and TSSA regulations
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
• Canadian work authorization

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to serve clients with Risk Control services
• Develop and champion Risk Control client service focus
• Ensure high-quality service through consultations
• Collaborate with national Risk Control teams on guidelines
• Prepare Loss Prevention Reports and risk explanations
• Support underwriting, marketing and claims with reports
• Be inspector qualified for boilers and pressure vessels in Ontario
• Foster collaborative team culture with Intact Partners
• Participate in learning and training activities
