Job summary

IPS is seeking a Senior (Revit) Architectural Technologist to join our Vaughan, Toronto team. The role focuses on delivering high-quality architectural designs for life sciences projects, using Revit and CAD across various project types.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of Revit experience, proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, and strong knowledge of the Ontario Building Code. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential for coordinating with clients and project teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology.
• 5+ years of Revit experience within an architectural firm.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
• High proficiency in MS Office, including Word and Excel.
• Strong knowledge of Ontario Building Code (OBC) and construction detailing.
• Good communication skills with clients, consultants, and officials.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills to liaise with clients, consultants, and team members.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and manage architectural drawings and documentation using Revit and CAD software.
• Collaborate with project teams to create accurate and detailed design solutions.
• Ensure adherence to local building codes, industry standards, and client requirements.
• Provide mentorship and technical support to junior technologists and team members.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve design and technical challenges.
• Maintain and update project files, libraries, and templates within the BIM environment.
