We are seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant to join our Revenue Accounting team. Under the supervision of the Accounting Manager, the incumbent will oversee Revenue Accountants responsible for invoice calculations, ensuring data accuracy, preparing invoices, collecting receivables, and conducting P&L variance analysis related to Revenue.

Responsibilities

• Review invoices for accuracy to ensure correct revenue recording
• Review schedules, working papers, and journal entries for accuracy
• Review journal entries and perform account reconciliations
• Follow up on outstanding receivables for timely collection
• Provide guidance and coaching to staff to maintain quality and meet deadlines
• Supervise reconciliation of POS to carrier data
• Communicate with carriers to resolve ongoing issues
• Prepare reports and perform analysis, including monthly P&L variance analysis
• Participate in management meetings to communicate issues
• Perform other related duties

Profile

• Post-secondary degree, diploma, or certificate in business, commerce, accounting, or related field
• 3-5 years relevant experience
• CPA designation preferred
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, and data management
• Team player with a positive work attitude
• Ability to meet deadlines during peak periods
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an asset
