Job summary

Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Partnership (MLSE) is hiring a Restaurant Supervisor for Real Sports Bar & Grill in Toronto. Lead the restaurant team, organize seating plans, oversee opening/closing duties, and ensure service standards.

You will verify deliveries, assist with order expediting, manage staff scheduling, and contribute to a positive guest experience. Requires 2+ years supervisory experience, Smart Serve certification, and strong leadership in a high-volume setting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years supervisory or management experience in a high-volume restaurant.
• Solid understanding of restaurant business principles and service etiquette.
• Comprehensive knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer, and bartending operations.
• Effective team management experience.
• Smart Serve Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and provide ongoing coaching/training to the restaurant team.
• Work with the restaurant manager to prepare seating plans and organize staff.
• Ensure pre-opening duties are completed and staff are assigned sections.
• Verify the accuracy of incoming deliveries and secure them.
• Assist in expediting food orders and resolve order discrepancies.
• Supervise the floor during service and respond to guest concerns.
• Manage closing duties and document service issues/resolutions.
• Assist with scheduling and attendance records; maintain MLSE standards.
