Job summary

Fairstone Bank – Eden Park division is hiring a Representative, Specialized Collections to manage past-due auto-finance accounts and negotiate repayment plans. You will leverage skip tracing and credit bureau tools, ensuring compliance with policy while maintaining detailed call records.

This role supports a high-volume collection environment with a hybrid work model. Ideal candidates have 1+ year in high-risk auto financing collections, strong communication skills, and familiarity with MS

Excellent verbal and written communication skills for diverse audiences.
Experience with skip tracing and credit bureau awareness.
1+ year in high-risk auto financing collections or similar roles.

Responsibilities

Provide collecting services for overdue auto-finance loans and meet targets.
Contact past-due customers and negotiate payment arrangements within limits.
Apply company policies to recover payments and document actions in system.
Assess risk and escalate accounts for further action when needed.
Maintain timely, accurate records of calls and commitments.
Support broader collection responsibilities as assigned.

About The Role

Provide excellent service while ensuring exceptional results in the collection of financial loans.
Contact past due customers through the appropriate channeling methods, request and negotiate payment arrangements within authorized limits, and send correspondence to collection customers.
Use company-specific policies and procedures to maintain and coordinate firm payment recovery.
Assess and mitigate risk by referring accounts for further action.
Document all call activity details in the Collections system to reflect any action taken, e.g., commitments to pay and/or amounts and dates agreed upon.
Achieve individual collection targets to meet Department and Company-wide goals.
Complete other collection responsibilities, as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
You are tech-savvy and know your way through Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
You are experienced with skip tracing and familiar with using 411, social media, and the ability to understand credit bureaus.
You have a minimum of 1 year of experience working with high-risk accounts in the auto financing industry.

EXTRA- AWESOME TO HAVE!

Post-secondary education in Business Administration or any other relevant studies.
You have demonstrated work experience with sub-prime consumers.
You speak French!

What You Can Expect - Pay & Process

Expected base salary range is $44,362.50 - $50,000.00.
