Job summary

Zurich Canada seeks a Senior Reinsurance Financial Analyst to manage complex reinsurance transactions, ensuring accurate accounting and compliance with terms. The role reports to the Reinsurance Financial Manager and includes governance, analytics, and cross-department collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance with 6+ years of reinsurance experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent with 8+ years of reinsurance experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and apply proper accounting and operational procedures for complex reinsurance contracts.
• Provide direction and perform calculations, recording, reporting, and settlement of complex reinsurance transactions.
• Handle reinsurance claims of medium to high complexity as needed.
• Provide oversight for complex reinsurance activities and coordinate resolution.
