What to Expect:
The Senior Regional Manager is tasked with coordinating the Regional Consumption forecast in partnership with National Key Account Manager who handles our distributor and forecast. This role includes managing Regional Sales Team that targets smaller regional groups and veterinary clinics, ensuring efficient Customer Contribution to Nestlé Purina Pet Care Canada. Furthermore, the Senior Regional Manager is responsible for crafting the "go to market" strategic plan for the customer base while ensuring alignment and integration with the Channel operations.

A day in the life of a Senior Regional Manager:
• Accountable for the Sales (Consumption) and Trade & PFME Budget
• Responsible for leading all aspects of operations and driving growth across the ON, MB/SK, and BC regions.
• Responsible for developing the strategic regional plan, aligned with internal objectives, product strategy, business development, and trade marketing initiatives, while also considering external driven market challenges and opportunities.
• Resolve regional account strategy with a special focus on Assortment, Merchandising, and standard process Sales promotion.
• Ensures NPP’s Call Coverage is outstanding in PetCare – with frequency, coverage and distribution objectives established and supervised.
• Responsible for deploying resources according to sub-channel priorities and strategies, such as buying groups, chains, and independent A/B accounts
• Handles critical matters within the largest regional customers, as well as the execution of the regional plan through team members
• Cultivates harmony and collaborative relationships via Coordinated Commercial Planning between Product Strategy, Purina Enablers, Business Development, and Trade Marketing.
• Responsible for Trade Spend and improving Customer Contribution within the Region by managing a budget
• Supervises the professional development, progression and succession planning for direct reports.
• Responsible for Regional Sales Reporting by developing and submitting refined budgets, including Rev, 1, probable volumes, and sales expenditure budgets for OPL, Rev1, and probable forecasts

Role Requirements
• 5+ years in progressive sales roles with at least 2 years of experience with Direct People leadership responsibilities.
• Valid full driver’s license and safe driving record is required.
Open to travel overnight approximately 25% of the time (mainly in Western Canada: SK/MB & BC) within the assigned territory.
• Candidate must reside within the territory and able to travel as required based on territory needs.
• Post secondary education in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Commerce or related field, experience within the veterinary or healthcare field is an asset.
• Experience working with other sales tracking software program and ability to analyze data and pull insights.
• Strong computer skills with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Power BI is an asset
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, with a proven track record of delivering
effective presentations to audiences of all sizes
• Excellent leadership abilities, fostering collaboration and strong interpersonal skills
