Hatch in Mississauga, Ontario is seeking a highly motivated Systems Integration Lead, Rail Systems, to join our North American Infrastructure group. Reporting to the Director, Systems Integration & Assurance, the successful candidate will take leadership roles for systems engineering, integration, and assurance on large scale rail developments.

The ideal candidate will be a senior rail systems engineer with a P.Eng.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Professional engineering (P.Eng.) license.
• 10+ years of progressive rail systems engineering experience.
• Knowledge of US (FTA & FRA), CENELEC, and ISO rail delivery standards.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to train and develop staff and educate clients.

Responsibilities

• Take leadership positions in project delivery of railway solutions.
• Provide technical design and implementation integration leadership.
• Understand and interface with RAM, systems assurance and program safety activities.
• Provide leadership, direction and technical guidance to staff and consultants.
• Manage lifecycle engineering activities, changes, client relations, and project management.
• Assist in pursuits, client relationship building and recruiting staff in rail areas.
