Job summary

Mott MacDonald Canada Limited is hiring a Systems Integration Engineer to support rail and transit projects in a hybrid work model across Vancouver, Calgary or Toronto. You will integrate rail systems, document interfaces, and contribute to bids and field commissioning while collaborating with a diverse team of engineers and project managers.

The role requires a P.Eng and extensive experience in systems integration, with strong communication skills and knowledge of IEC 15288.

Qualifications

• P.Eng in Alberta, BC or Ontario or able to register.
• Minimum 7 years’ progressive experience in systems integration, preferably rail/transit or public infrastructure.
• Experience in development or deployment of complex systems.
• Experience in setting to work of integrated solutions.
• Experience working with requirements, including development and elicitation.
• Working knowledge of IEC 15288.
• INCOSE ASEP certification is desirable.
• Strong communication skills and English fluency.
• Interpersonal and teamwork abilities in a multi-discipline environment.
• Ability to hold technical discussions with Client representatives.

Responsibilities

• Identify, analyse and document interfaces within and between systems.
• Integration of Rail Systems into overall light rail and urban transit projects.
• Work in a multi-discipline SESA team.
• Collaborate with delivery partners and service providers.
• Assist in commissioning and setting to work of Rail Control systems.
• Support bid development activities.
• Support construction activities from office and field.
• Engage with colleagues across Mott MacDonald.
• Interact with end clients as needed.
