The opportunity:

The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst oversees all quality assurance activities within projects. You will be responsible for reviewing system requirements, functional specifications, and design documents. Your role will include creating all test artifacts in line with quality standards, ensuring that the product or application meets established quality criteria, including reliability, usability, and performance.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading and directing all efforts of the QA team.
• Creating test artifacts (Test strategy, Test Plan, Test Scenarios, Test Cases, and Test Closure).
• Defining, implementing, and enforcing departmental QA policies, guidelines, standards, and procedures.
• Identifying testing strategies for projects, testing scope, and coordinating QA environment needs and readiness.
• Participating in internal reviews of test cases.
• Executing test plans, test cases, and scripts.
• Reviewing requirements specifications and technical design documents to provide feedback.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, relevant technical diploma, or equivalent experience in software development.
• 10+ years in Quality Assurance (QA).
• 5+ years in software testing.
• Experience in the retail industry (asset).
• Strong knowledge of SQL queries and relational databases.
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Expertise in QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel).
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
