Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Automation Test Engineer to join our dynamic QA team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions by designing, implementing, and executing manual and automated tests. Additionally, you will leverage AI-powered testing tools and techniques to enhance testing efficiency, identify patterns in test data, and improve defect detection.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated tests for an AI-powered application, leveraging prompt engineering skills.
  • Utilize AI-driven tools and algorithms to optimize test case generation, defect prediction, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements, identify test scenarios, and define test strategies.
  • Design and implement automation frameworks for scalability and reusability.
  • Perform database testing by writing and executing SQL queries to validate backend data integrity and consistency.
  • Perform API testing using Postman to validate request/response payloads and verify endpoints.
  • Work with sprint teams in reducing error rates by performing root cause analysis.
  • Report daily/weekly status to the management and proactively communicate risks/issues.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering/equivalent training.
  • 3+ years of experience in automation and manual testing roles.
  • Experience in prompt engineering and working with AI technologies to optimize testing.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (.Net, Java, JavaScript, C#).
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, or similar.
  • Experience with AI-driven testing tools (e.g., Katalon, Testim, or similar).
  • Experience with SQL for database testing and backend validation.
  • Knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Experience conducting browser compatibility testing and responsive design testing.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
  • Ability to juggle conflicting/changing priorities and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

How We Work

This role requires two in-office days per week, with three days in-office during the three-month orientation period. Remote work is not available for this position.
