Job summary

Bird Construction is seeking a Senior Proposal Specialist to lead proposal development and submission activities for regional buildings teams. You will coordinate content, manage deadlines, and ensure high-quality materials.

The role requires extensive experience in sales/marketing with proposal creation, excellent writing and editing skills, and familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud and Dynamics CRM. A strong team player capable of handling multiple priorities in a dynamic construction

Qualifications

• 7–15 years’ experience in sales, business development or marketing with proposal creation responsibility.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, etc.).
• Experience with a CRM tool (Microsoft Dynamics) considered an asset.
• Excellent project coordination skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience in a corporate construction/architecture/engineering environment is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate proposal preparation and submission with pursuit team.
• Read, distribute and manage RFPQ/RFP information.
• Create and distribute the responsibility matrix for pursuits.
• Centralize and standardize RFP content and track deadlines.
• Draft tailored content with the proposal lead and manage technical content.
• Collaborate with external vendors for input and information.
• Review, edit and archive proposal material; organize proposal reviews.
• Maintain updates to marketing databases and project sheets.
